16.1.2016: We are pleased to invite applications to ESSEM 2016! The summer school will take place at the University Mental Health Research Institute & Neurology Department, National University of Athens, Athens, Greece, from 11th to 17th September 2016. 16.12.2015: Ulrich Ettinger has been awarded DFG funding for a project entitled "Why do not all high schizotypes develop schizophrenia? Protective factors in people with high risk for schizophrenia using machine learning methods". Project partners are Professor Nikolaos Koutsouleris (Department of Psychiatry, University of Munich), Professor Michael Wagner (Department of Psychiatry, University of Bonn) and Professor René Hurlemann (Department of Psychiatry, University of Bonn).

5.5.2014: We are pleased to announce the European Summer School on Eye Movements (ESSEM) 2014! ESSEM 2014 is funded by the Boehringer-Ingelheim-Stiftung and will take place from 8th to 13th September at the University of Freiburg (organisation: Christoph Klein & Ulrich Ettinger).


24.3.2014: Professor Veena Kumari (King's College London, UK) has been nominated for the Humboldt Research Award. The award will bring her to Bonn for collaborative research projects with our group. Many congratulations!

18.10.2013: We welcome Professor Jan Ramaekers (Department of Neuropsychology and Psychopharmacology, University of Maastricht) for a talk on "Drugs of use or abuse? On therapeutic indications and behavioral toxicity". The talk will be on 30th October 2013 at 4pm (Hörsaal des Instituts). All staff and students are welcome!
