Differential & Biological Psychology

Welcome to the website of Differential & Biological Psychology at the University of Bonn. Here you will find up-to-date information about our teaching and research, current projects and ongoing studies.

In terms of research, we investigate the biological basis of inter-individual differences in human behaviour. These include differences in personality, cognitive functions, stress and pain sensitivity. We use various biopsychological methods such as molecular genetics, imaging (MRI), endocrinology and psychophysiology. The department also has its own genetic laboratories.
